Dear Long-time Supporters,
Happy New Year to all our friends! We hope 2021 will bring us all the health and peace of mind we have all been needing since we last met.
We realize that celebrating the 25th Annual Twilight Concert will not be possible this year but we are committed to raising funds for ARFC during this difficult time. As a Committee of volunteers, we are most proud of the fact that we have raised over $750,000 in our 25 year history without one dollar of overhead and every dollar we receive going directly to the charity.
At our only socially-distanced meeting this Fall, we discussed planning a zoom-type concert since that seems to be the trend. Then we came up with another idea that we feel will keep us in your thoughts, provide a venue for our talented musical friends, and most importantly raise much needed money for ARFC when they need it the most.
Our talented and dedicated Musical Director, Jeff MacPherson, has volunteered to produce a video which will include music from Twilight musicians and special guests, along with messages from friends of Twilight and some provocative insight into the ongoing challenges of ARFC. We will make this video available to our donors through a link after we receive your donation. Since last year’s ticket price was $60, we feel that this is the appropriate fee for this exclusive opportunity to receive this (hopefully only) virtual Twilight Concert. There are also opportunities for sponsorship attached and we hope our business and family sponsors will be encouraged to continue their patronage from previous years.
We also excitedly announce that our long-anticipated 25th Annual Concert will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at St. George’s for the 25th year. Barring any unforeseen world events or pandemics, this event will be held live and in person and feature the talents of our favorite musicians and the world-renowned post concert reception with our artists.
Even as the pandemic has reeked havoc throughout our State, ARFC’s work continues. The organization continues to be the largest provider of HIV/AIDS housing in NJ. They provide critical support services including case management, support groups, and food assistance to more than 350 people. They continue to create opportunities for HIV-affected families to support one another and lead valuable, productive lives.
We need your support to continue this important work. If you have attended a concert in the past, you know what a wonderful event it is. If you have donated to ARFC in the past, you have received their mailings and you know about their wonderful work. If we are new to you, please join our Twilight Concert family during this critical time. You’ll feel great about every penny of the money you donate to this organization.
